Get really bad razor burn on my neck

When i shave I always get an awful razor burn on my neck... Just above the adams apple.

The hair does change direction around that area a lot, and i try to go with the hair as much as possible which helps a little!

I use post shave balm, which also helpls a little... but its still there. Tried a couple or brands too

Anybody got any advice on how to reduce it??

One day I'll cure it by just having a beard, but my face is still too patchy for that, need some better growth first!!

Ben,that area is sensitive for most men,including myself.
1. Make sure to wet that area well with warm water and soap to soften the hairs good
2. Invest in a good razor , such as a Gillette Mach3 or Sensor.
3. After shaving apply some witch hazel.
This should help.
