You look great !  Keep shaving every day or two to give it a chance and see how you like it.  Reminds me Im due for a shave tonight :) I love the totally smooth feel of my shaved head !

Congratulations!  I hope you enjoy it all. One of the best pieces of advice I picked up from the group was not to obsess about the rough patches. Nobody else will see them, and you can catch them the next time.  After a few shaves, things even out.

They where not just rough patches they where about the length of a #1 guard and sticking up very visible I could see the at a glance in the mirror

The trick with shaving go by feel more than by sight. Hard to miss spots that way.

I'm going to blame it on frustration tiredness and just wanting to get it done for the misses spots and believe me that won't happen again I'm not shaveing tonight so I can have a nice morning shave tomorrow

LOL. I'm chuckling at the responses.  My feelings exactly first week I shaved my head. Brings back nice memories.

Missed spots. Thinking that everyone would be looking at me.  Rubbing my head all the time. Checking out the new look in the mirror.  (Is that really me?) Jumped the gun.  All of that.

Looks good. And I can guess that you are probably thinking, "Why did I wait so long?" "What was the big issue?"

Welcome. Let us know how halloween goes.  I often get comments about looking like the guy on Breaking Bad.
