The day after nicking yourself

Hey fellow sly brothers and sisters,

I am still new at the whole head shaving thing but have started using my DE instead of my fusion to do the hard to reach places on my head or just areas that weren't smooth after my first pass with the fusion with the hopes I'll only be using the DE in a few months. That being said I have gotten a couple of nicks through carelessness. I used a styptic pencil to staunch the blood but there was still a scab the following day and when shaving my head I sliced off the scab and am back to the start.

Any suggestions on going through this cause I know once I move over fully to the DE I will be in nick and cut heaven.

I do just the opposite Nick. I use the de all over, then use the fusion type razor in the difficult areas like behind my ears. Try putting a fingertip on top of the scab and shave around it.
