Hey guys,
I know this has been covered before. I've got to go overseas in 4 weeks for work. I'll be going to Europe. My question is this, has anyone had any problems at customs because their passport photo doesn't have their new sly look? My passport is 7 yrs old and the picture was from when i was a teenager and looked much younger with a bushy head of hair.
I ask this because I was planning on going sly before the trip.

Out if you went sly before the trip and in your passport photo you were rocking the sly look, this would be an awesome thing for you to do.
In my passport for 2000, I have shouder length hair, about 5 various facial piercings and have my head tilted to the side like I am sizing up the oppostion and I have never once been held up in customs in all my travels.

JDog,
I couldn't imagine you having shoulder length hair. WOW.
What happened to the piercings? Got tired of them?
On the note of the passport, getting a new one takes about 3 weeks and i go in 4 weeks so i might be cutting it fine.
Anyway, They haven't complained about the beard on previous trips. I did have a police officer in Western Australia comment to me one day a few weeks ago. "Wow you've grown a beard!" hehe.

Sorry bro, happy to say I'm slick and smooth in my old photo...I'm actually up for a new one in 08...
the only difference is the old "balded" photo i had a full goat and now looking a pictures it looks like a fake one i just slapped on my face!

It shouldn't be a problem...but you never know these days!

I had a spurt of travelling across the usa/canada border recently. My pasport has a bushy beard and hair lenght of about 7 inches (yes; that's right) .. when travelling; I wasnt' sly; but close; had buzz cut like in some of my gallery photos ; ... had no problems .
hope that helps

Hey Out, both my drivers license and passport show me with hair and I haven't had any problems with either. You should be ok.

My passport is due to expire in 2010 and you can be sure that my head will be shiny slick bald.
I was told that new photos for the new work building passes would be done today, but I delayed a few days because I had stubble and wanted to have a smooth slick dome for the picture.
I am also growing out a goat.

My drivers license has me with almost 2 feet of long curley hair, wire rimmed glasses and sideburns [I got it after I turned 16] Things have changed!

I'm due for a driver's license renewal next year. I'm looking forward to taking my picture next year for the license. Although, I'm not certain how to answer the question when it comes to hair. Do I say
a) Skintone
b) None
c) bald
d) N/A, for not applicable ?
As much as I'd like to put "SLY", I don't think the DMV would go for it. To me, A and C do not work, as it asks for "hair" and neither of these options address hair color. I kinda like "D" as a response.

I might stick with my "real" hair color in case things change and you grow it out ... or call the DMV in advance to see what they recommend. I filled out a form recently which ask for "natural" hair color!
