Hey SBGs,
I've had a receding hairline and an ever growing bald spot on the back/top of my head ever since my late teens and now with 28 i have pretty much a giant forehead that stretches to the back of my head. I never really paid it too much attention and always had my hair around 15-20mm's. For the last 4 years i just used the hair clippers from Philipps that i had for facial hair with the head hair attachment that came with it to keep it short ( or sometimes let it grow out for some time because i was just lazy and didn't care about it ), so I've been running around with a 3mm-10mm cut for a while.
I am thinking about shaving the rest of it off, but i haven't had a wet shaving in years and that's pretty much the reason i joined.
I need some pointers about how to get started without cutting my head up too much.
I've read some threads here and a lot of people seem to recommend the Headblade razors or the Gillette razors, so I'll probably try one of those.
But what, other than a razor and shaving creme do you guys recommend to start out with? Do you use an after shave same as for facial hair? Other skin care products?
How much money/month do you guys spend on shaving stuff?.
Another problem i want to ask you guys about is that i have some moles and a hemangioma on my head. The hemangioma should be a problem because it sticks out quiet far, but the moles are only little bumps, will they be a problem when i am wetshaving?
And my last question is, what do you guys do against sweating on the heat. During summer we have high humidity which makes me sweat a lot. So far the hair i have left was helping by absorbing a lot of it. I also started using sunscreen on my head because during summer 2 years ago i got a really painful sunburn on my head. And having sunscreen running into my eyes with my sweat is not really something i am looking forward to.
I hope you guys can help me out with some information.
