• Congrats on scoring a Gem SE razor!  SE shaving is actually easier than DE shaving.  You can find the "sweet spot" better.  Just keep the head of the razor almost flat or more shallow than you would a DE razor. 
  
  As you can see, I love my vintage SE razors.  I have several and they are great performers.  You can even get a SE blade at your local CVS store.  CVS has it's own brand DE blade.  Keep us posted and thanks for sharing.

• Thanks @Warhawk!  Yeah I've been wanting to try a SE every since I saw my first one.  As far as the blades, unfortunately my city doesn't have CVS, just Walgreens.  BUT we do have Rite Aid, and they DO carry their own brand of blades (10 for $7+ tho ) so I'll probably get some.  I'm keeping the GEM blade that came with it intact.

• @Bluebriz - thats true.  So if I dont pick some up at Maggards Razors this weekend, I will order some Personas online

  What i have seen, some say they are aggressive others not. The 37c is one i will get. Good reviews and cheap too.
