I think the shaved head looks great! It makes a statement. I'll bet you will constantly be thinking about shaving it again. One way to get family and friends to quit commenting is to just keep it shaved. A couple of my friends that hated my bald look, no longer even comment.
Yes i am constantly thinking about lol
Also the second statement, thats what i did with the stubble look, i kept on doing it because i liked it, even if they comment it became less as days went on.
Sath, no matter which route you take going forward, at least you can say that you did it instead of wondering "what if". You look great sly; nice tan, BTW!
Pretty much yes.
But anyways, with shaved, i dont touch my head much, it both feels great and yet weird lol

Sath, It really does look good shaved, better in my opinion. It will take time for yourself and others to adjust to the new look since it is a change, but for others it instantly looks good. If you decide to stick with it, it will take about 30 days for it to seem natural to yourself (that is why we have the 30 day rule), but it will take longer for family and friends. And just as a bit of caution, if you go back and forth between shaved and stubble, it will take everyone longer to adjust.

If your mum came to visit and had dyed her hair lime green, you'd comment lol....do what you want to do, if you want to keep the shaved look, keep it...everyone else will get used to it...or go back to stubble...whatever makes you happy....after all....that's what its all about

Sath, you look just as good from the side as you do from the front. I only shave twice a week so I go from smooth to stubble constantly. At first, I was like you and I preferred the stubble look, but as I continued to razor shave, I came to like the totally bald look better (I'm just too lazy to shave every day!)
Do what you prefer and don't worry about anyone else. They'll stop talking eventually!

Gotta love parents. My mom's first statement when she first saw my shaved scalp was, "You probably will want to grow it back."
It sounds like your dad at least took the change with humor and acknowledged it was your decision.

I join the others. Sath, in congratulating you on your new clean scalp. It's up to you, but you should try it out for 30 days. If you don't like it, you can always grow it back.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Yeah the bald look is catching up on me than the stubble a bit.
I shaved yesterday and already today when i touch my head i feel some roughness to it lol

Oh I would comment hehe.
At this point now that i have also shaved, i have gone through the ultimate "do whatever you want with your hair" now, nothing else can shock them lol
I'm glad you made the jump, Sath! Now for the next hurdle... growing out the full beard!

I would but I get hair slightly above my cheeks and i just dont like the look, some guys have natural stop line on the cheeks which is below, I dont unfortunetly so i dont try anymore to do it.

I am too lazy as well, IF i was going to shave i would do it every 2 days since some roughness doesnt hurt but not let it grow long enough to make shaving annoying.

Funny thing is, today my head looks like a day one stubble, its rough (but i wont shave it today since its not long enough to bother with it).
My dad however said (suprisingly, dont know if it was good or bad) that I should let my head get some sun since its too pale lol
I do agree with him, i need abit of sun on my head, but its June soon so summer hopefully is very sunny and somewhat hot so i can go out and get some sun, but nothing extreme.
My mom said "this look isnt bad or anything, but previous one is abit better (stubble), not that there is a huge difference or anything".
But in the end i think they have come to terms that I do what i want and they can get used to it.

30 day rule, Sath.
you, your family and friends all need some time to adjust to your new look.
You look smart and crisp with your shaved head. Bold and confident. Very nice.
Keep it shaved for a month and see how it goes. You'll adjust to the look and feel of a shaved head. You'll pick up some head color. It won't look so pale.
Looks good.

My cousin from london came to visit me and my family today and saw me bald and asked why I ambald? i said because i am getting bald-er and i like this a look i like and removes the thinness in the front of my hair (which she knows for years now).
Then she goes on a rogaine explaination that it helps if i apply it to the specific area on my head for a few months and see if it helps or not.
Now I dont know if i should go for it or not, she said I should take rogaine 5% strength and see how it goes. Though she said its gonna take a bit of time for her to get used to this look, thats all she said.
She is a barber and knows her stuff, she studied a while for barber stuff.
But this rogaine stuff sounds like another scam of nonsense, but I dont know if any of you have tried it or know. i barely got money to use for the gym, i dont want to use more money for something that i can deal with for free (shaving or trimming my hair).
And i told her, its not just because i am going bald, its also a look/style i like with the beard, makes me look tougher with a stronger appearence, like Mark Strong and Bruce Willis for example, even Matt Damon in Elysium lol

No, you don't want to use rogaine. If she fusses on that, just tell her is un natural. Being bald is much more natural. The meds and chemicals can have bad side effects. The only side effect of shaving your head is if you are careless and you scalp yourself.
You look good bald.

I been checking up on this rogaine stuff and i have read about this side effects, and that the result is different from person to person.
She didnt mak a fuzz about it unless i asked, which is respectful IMO.
i told her that this bald/stubble look is catching up on me and I dont mind it as much. I also dont want to use rogaine and get false hopes from it, atleast when i shave/have stubble I know where i stand interms of look and preference.
