Hello everyone, I'm new to SlyBaldGuys. I've been shaving my head with clippers for a few years now, and yesterday decided to finally try using a razor. My oh my does a clean shaven head feel good. Only problem is it looks terrible right now. Tons of red bumps, and dark spots everywhere, I also have Sebhorehic Dermatitis. I see a few of you here have SD as well, and have said it goes away in time after shaving for awhile. I will give this a shot and report my results along with before and after pics in 30 days! Wish me luck!

Welcome, Eddy! I too have had a case of SD which cleared up when I stopped being lazy and razor shaved more often. Give it time, yours will probably clear up soon once the scalp gets used to the razor.

Welcome both of you, Eddy and Roger.
Nothing like a smooth head. Took a day off yesterday, and today, WOW again. BBC here, but just can hardly believe I'd ever go back to hair unless I became an invalid and was unable to shave my own head.
30 day rule.

Welcome, and I hope your Sebhorehic Dermatitis clears up for your. The red bumps will likely go away once your scalp has been scraped a few times.

That smooth feeling after shaving has kept me going for close on 10 years. Nothing like it.
The redness will go away after a while.

Like Sir Harry, I had a mild case of SD when I shaved my head permanently a month ago. Mother's Day will be the 30th day straight I've shaved my head bald and love it! After a few days of shaving, it cleared right up and hasn't come back.

Going out to eat for Mother's Day with the whole family today. This will be the first time they all saw bald. So far it has gone great at work no problems at all. Everyone seems to think it looks good.
