What are some ways to keep your razor clean?

Anyone have any tips on ways (other then run water through them) I can clean my razors from all the residue from shaving?

I know that some people have tried mineral oil.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Hey Caliwrestla good to have you on the forum. O0

I found that by adding a thin layer of shaving oil under the gel or cream it really happens lubricate the blades better and in turn keeps them cleaner and lasting longer. Also after shaving, rinse your razor with very hot water and store in an airtight container to prevent corrosion.

Well for starters, using the tootbrush trick is a good tip in order to get the stuck in hair in the cartridge that the water rinse cannot remove.

By using extremley hot water when you shave, not only does it soften the hairs when the the blade passes over your skin but also makes the blades stay sharper longer I have found.
