The only time I shred my head or face is when I try to shave "in a hurry" or try to push down too hard to get a closer shave. Someday I'd like to master a straight razor, but for now, I'm really enjoying the Harry's razor. I can't remember when I've got a closer shave without going over the same area over and over again. I haven't tried their shave lotion yet because I've still got plenty of creme in a can. I'll let ya know when I finally do try it.
