Welcome! The shaved head suits you very well. I'm biased toward facial hair too, and I'm sure it will look great. Maybe even try a full beard after you try the goatee. Both would work for you.

I think you look good both ways, especially because your facial hair still has color, (is not gray).
Why not make one your "winter" look and the other your "summer" look? -

I'm biased but keep growing the goatee as I think the sly head looks good with either goatee or full beard.
