 I have an ambigram tattoo on my inside forearm that says Jones then says Malisa upside down and people will randomly grab my arm trying read it I guess..so I was wondering if any of you guys run into the touchy people trying to see your tattoos and if so.. do you find that more strange or the head rubbers?..I personally don't mind the head rub because they usually ask and it feels good.

It depends....some people may not mind it, but remember ALL parts of the body are personal spaces and should be respected as such. It would be in a person's best interest to ask to see the tattoo or to rub someone's head first before following through....especially if they are a stranger. I admit, I may have rubbed a close friend's bald head out of the blue, but otherwise, I would definitely ask for a closer view of the tattoo before grabbing his/her arm, friend or not.

SirHarry I agree..I was a correctional officer for 3 years so when someone randomly grabs me
especially a stranger I kinda go in to "get back" mode, before I realize what going on..

I have a couple long-time friends (one male, two female) who sometime greet me with a head rub, of which I oblige.  :@`

Being only 5'6" has always made my bald head a target - even in the early days of premature male pattern baldness.  The teasing and head buffing always came from buddies that I hung around with who all, at that time, had thick heads of hair I their early 20's while mine was going / gone.

I think it is proper to have someone ask if they can rub or feel your head or touch tats, etc, unless, they are long time friends.

I have tats and a shaved head so I'm "professionally" interested in what other guys have or how they shave or whatever. That said, I would never reach out and touch someone without asking their permission. And why would I need to touch another guys ink? I can feel my own if I'm curious. Sure, if they've had some special procedure, such as making raised in places, I might ask to feel, but that's the exception. As to people rubbing my shaved head, they're in for a surprise; I'm not bald, my head is shaved and if it has been several hours since I shaved it the feeling will be more of 500 grit sand paper. When I first took it all off I had deep brown hair that was already shot with grey and white-I was 55 and that was to be expected. Then, when shaved, I had "shadow" that, now, that I'm grey and white no longer exits but this is 15 years later. Also at my height-6'5, it's not easily apparent that I have a balded head unless I sit down. Some how, the people who want to "feel:" it have always struck me as intrusive; Do they not know what skin feels like. I once had someone stand on a chair-an act I considered odd-just to rub my head; I felt that I ought to offer them three wishes based on their effort....
