SoCal Summer in the Winter

So I live in Southern California, and I swear if it doesn't feel like summer right now. All week, we've been in the high 70's to mid 80's during the day with the lows dipping to around 60. What a weird winter in SoCal.
Who's what where? I know the Midwest and Northeast are suffering the frigid cold. How are you all dealing?
I ride a motorcycle and that is one of the great advantages of living here is that our riding season is year-round.

Today it's forty degrees here in Connecticut and it feels like spring to us! I just went on a hike at lunch. This winter has been odd here, too. We've had some really punishing, frigid weather and then temps in the forties and fifties!

South Texas is in the 60's today. We expect to be in the mid to upper 70's by Monday.
My neighbor mowed his lawn yesterday. I love this place!

I grew up in Thousand Oaks (near L.A.) and recall California weather.
After a brief spell "up North" I've traded California for Florida which is quite similar - we were in the 80s last week.
Personally, I don't care to live where weather can be shoveled - but am happy for those who desire it.

Belton, Texas (Central).. Its been up and down. One day it'll be hot the next cold.. Its been a very frustrating 'winter' (I put the winter in quotations considering we do not ever get the traditional winter most get).

The weather this winter in New Jersey has been very strange. We've had bitter cold and very mild within days of each other, e.g., the Sunday before Christmas, the high was 61; Christmas Day, the high was 30. We've also had a lot more fog and black ice than I ever remember.
