Hi guys I'm new here, I would like to know what you think about my situation. As my hair have become thinner on the temples and the crown I started using the Wahl balding clippers with no guards on it, but still my head doesn't look completely clean and the spots are visible. lately I've been thinking of using a razor for the first time but I'm afraid of how I will look. I know that the wahl balding clippers gives you an haircut almost comparable to a razor shave, should a try to shave it with a razor, and if I decide to do so, can I shave it everyday without any skin irritation?
Thanks...
A razor will cut it alot shorter and it will be alot smoother then clippers will.. From my experience (I've never use those specific clippers). I started shaving about a week to a week and a half ago (unsure I'll have to check my post on here). But yea, you can shave it every day with minimal irritation just make sure you use aftershave and moisterizer every so often. I probably use the moisterizer 2-3 times a day, I'm sure you don't have to that much. I just like it

. Check around the forums or ask what would be good. I also put a mixture of Aloe Gel and Witch hazel along with my aftershave and moisterizer. I mainly get razor bumps on the back of my head, but there are products/thing you can do to reduce those. (I haven't been able to get my hands on those yet). O and from what I've seen on here you'll always have spots where you can't get completely smooth.
Ooooops! Posted by mistake!
Fusion's are expensive.. (I use them on my face and my wife on her legs). I'd recommend getting a ATX Headblade.. A 4 pack of blades is 6-12 dollars cheaper then the fusion. And you can see if there is a retailer in your area who sales them by going to their website.
Tried ATX and not as good for me. Fusion kicks it's butt as far as I am concerned!
I'm diggin' Shick Xtreme3's myself. Just got a shipment of 40 for $42.99 with free shipping off of eBay.
Try a Headblade Sport with atra blades I use Dollar General doubles there $1.50 for 6 blades and they are excellent
I agree with this combo as well. I use the HB Sport with Atra or their generic counterpart, and find I get the closest shaves with less passes.
Most drug stores (Walgreen's, CVS, RiteAid) have some form of a generic brand double blade cartridge. Give them a try, I'm sure you'll like them. They are also a better deal cost-wise compared to the outrageous prices of the multi bladed cartridges.
