R.I.P. Uncle Phil
« on: January 03, 2014, 11:56:24 AM »
I know I'm a few days late with this, but actor James Avery, best known for playing Uncle Phil on the TV show "Fresh Prince of Belair" passed away on Tuesday. He was in his 60's. One of my favorite actors who didn't let MPB deter him from having a very successful career as an actor in various movies, TV shows, voiceovers and bit parts in video games. That beard of his was certainly worth admiring and he was one of my bald idols even if he never went all the way sly (he may have gone sly recently). That said, he leaves behind his wife, a stepson and his mother. Condolences and prayers to his family and fans.

Even when the d is removed, the devil is still evil.

Well, James Avery still would have fit as a member on this page as the original intent was to embrace one's baldness.  It just so happens that most here shave their heads.  But Avery rocked MPB the way it should be!  That is with a short trimmed fringe!
