Christmas presents for bald guys and head shavers
« on: November 11, 2013, 12:19:31 PM »
Hey guys, can you believe that we're approaching the end of the year? Wow! Time has flown.

I saw some Christmas decorations and got to thinking, "what would be good Christmas presents for us Sly Bald Guys."

For me it would be great to receive a nice shaving mug and shaving brush.  I'd also be fgrateful for a new beard trimmer.

How about you?   What would be on your Christmas present wish list?

Well I'd like for somebody to give me a very large cache of M5 Magnum cartridges and a back-up M5 razor.

Any shave soap from RazoRock.

I would like a barbershop headshave.

I know I go through blades pretty quick so new blades are always nice. Like reddog said, I would like a barbershop shave but by a guy who knows what he is doing (I have had 2 done by ladies with cheap, disposable style 'straight blades' that always leave me bloody)

Also, for me since I work outside, new winter headwear. I despise hats but I am always on the look out for a nice, comfortable, well fitting beanie/stocking cap. The other day, I was on the tractor and it was 13* out there, then the next day we got snow and all I had was my old headblade beanie that isn't the most comfortable on cold days

Aside from more razors, I have no other request. Perhaps it is my retail cynicism (yes, I work retail) that has prompted me to not really want anything this time of year.

On the note of wanting a barbershop head shave, I think I will have to go to Manhattan for that. Knowing my neighborhood, they would want to carve my beard out in some design that I do not want (just because I live there does not mean I have to like every cultural aspect.)
Once upon a time. The End.

Reddog already said it, but a barber shop head shave would be nice, if there are any barbers in you area that will do it.  I had one as a Father's Day gift from my kids.  They all came along to watch.

Luckily baldjoeg and I live in the same area, and have met for lunch. (we're over due for our next lunch Joe) Joe gave me the name of 2 barbers that do the straight razor headshaves!
