Just got in to our hotel on Times Square.
It's going to be a cold day at Macy's parade tomorrow.
Jealous been nyc once and desperate to go back
Enjoy the city (as those of us in the area call it). Tomorrow is supposed to be cold, but sunny.
If you are a foodie, don't miss Eataly (23rd St and 5th), Chelsea Market (9th Ave and15th St), or if time is limited, the Lexington Avenue Marketplace in Grand Central.
There's also a holiday fair with ice skating and kiosks in Bryant Park behind the New York Public Library (42nd St)
There's nothing quite like watching the parade in person!
I'm going to check into my personal hotel, usually called 'home'. Has my favorite flannel sheets on the bed!
Then the family will help server lunch tomorrow for those less fortunate, and table games with friends. No time left for a parade or football on TV. Just enjoying friends company.
Have a nice time! And happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
It's sad to say that after working in New York City, I lose the desire to do anything else afterwards. Just before the holiday madness begun for customers, I began enjoying Union Square again.
