Well, today was the day. I took the clippers and took it down as much as I could before going in with razor (Schick Hydro 5) and cream (Cremo Cream). Surprisingly, no nicks or cuts. Within a few minutes into the shave, I knew this was the right move. And after washing it off in the shower, I'm hopelessly hooked. The feel is amazing, and the look is great. You guys were right! Now to grow the beard a little more for some contrast. My advice to others: just go for it.

I like it. Looks like you're a red head. Nice. I did not think that you would be able to wait until Dec 10th! I jumped the gun too on my target date for the first head shave.
Bald looks great. I started out with a Schick Hydro 5, too. Then in a few weeks became a headblade fan. I still have the schick as well as a Gillette Power Pro that a buddy gave me.
Let me invite you to be a regular poster here on SBG and the encourage other guys 'on the fence' with your story. Your bald head looks good.
