reactions from women
« on: July 13, 2007, 04:58:36 PM »
so... some of you have met me in the introductions section, but I figured I'd post here too because I've noticed some other changes in my life since I decided to go sly this past tuesday evening.

on wednsday, I went to the local drugstore to get some deodorant, shaving gel, and I decided to pick up a headblade sport to give it a try (I've used it for 3 days and I love it but that's a different story)... anyway while I was there, a little hottie (redhead, about 21 years old or so) looked at me and smiled with a kind of "come and get it" look... I was really taken aback because this hasn't happened to me in several years... I allways had to pursue women and sell them on my personality before they would even look twice at me.

Then again... on thursday... I was at a local sporting goods store scouting for a good handheld GPS unit (if anybody has any recommendations, please let me know)... can you guess what happened???  That's right! another provocative glance from a woman at the counter next to me... and the same thing happened today while driving I was stopped at a red light and a cute blonde was in a Honda next to me and actually waved

I'm really enjoying this... I have not had this much attention from women in a long time, and I guess it has something to do with the fact that I'm now able to walk with my "head held up high"... I have more confidence and I guess they notice that more than I thought.  ^-^

thanks for reading,

Ed

That's awesome bro!  Just wait until one of them comes up and rubs your dome.  :@`

Its only just begun....  ::)  But when they rub your head, tell them they have to make a wish, and your part of the make your wish come true committee.

You used the right word here: confidence. When we shave our heads, it says we are not worried what others think; that we have confidence in ourselves. And that is what the female gender wants in a man. Enjoy it. I get the same reaction in my 50's.

I am definitely noticing more attention lately, catching the extra glances as I am doing various daily activities.
An added bonus to being sly, I guess. I'll take it!     ;)

Compliments only continue to come my way.  I had 2 women tell my wife this weekend that they were not flirting but that they loved my shaved head.  My wife thought it was funny.   ;D ;D ;D

I've been lucky enough to only get positive reactions from women so far (only been 1 week).  Hopefully, they were all genuine ....

Yesterday, my 24 year old niece saw me sly for the first time and said "you look like a bouncer."   I'll take that as a compliment ....

My fiancee' has been supportive the whole way with me being sly.  Last night she said that she prefers me smooth bald than with hair.   :@`
