Intro..

Hello!  I have been shaving my head for 8 months.   I use the ATX headblade and love it.   I have two major scars and was worried I would be cut by the headblade. To my surprise I have only been cut twice. I've been cut many other times with other razors(the worst was a cheap single blade BIC!).

Welcome, sir.

Ah, the Bic. I learned to shave with those things. It taught me to respect the blade - and to keep a steptic pencil nearby.

I was going on an impromptu night out a while ago and hadn't shaved my head that morning, thought I'd buy some bics to shave my head at work before we went out. The night started when I finally stopped bleeding.

Welcome!

Welcome to the forum 4everbald. Hang in there, your scalp will become accustomed to the blade. Big fan of HeadBlade here myself, and I just started using the ATX. Initially I wasn't crazy about it, but it takes a few uses to see how it works, and figure out it's nuances.
I will say one thing, it's damn tough to cut yourself with it. Very good tool, and will be a better choice for those new to headshaving.
