Head wont tan
« on: August 14, 2013, 10:23:46 PM »
Hey guys I shaved my head without guard and have kept it that way for a few months now but my scalp wont seem to tan. Its still far whiter than the rest of my body. Im naturally fair skinned but I am fairly tanned on the rest of my body so im just wondering why my scalp is taking so long to adjust.

Cheers

Just as a shot in the dark, does any moisturiser you're using contain sunblock?

An easy fix for me, at least, was when I would lay out and try to get a full body tan, I would put tanning oil (SPF 4) all over myself, including my face and head.

Got tan nearly immediately.

If that doesn't work, give a tanning bed a try, it WILL work. You don't have to go constantly, but once a week or even twice a week will keep you looking tan all over, but not absurdly tan, just right.
Bald since 2005, showing it off since 2011.
