I agree with Slyest, it's bollocks! A similar story surfaced last year saying that he was "desperate" to cut his hair, but Royal Aides had decided that he would look too "thug like" His cousin Peter Phillips and his cousin Zara Phillips' husband both have very close buzz cuts, so if he wanted to he would.

I agree that it needs to be cut shorter at the sides to make it look neater.
