its usually the insecure ones that comment...if anyone says anything negative. ..just reply with a throw away line...like....yeah...it takes balls to do it...some guys are just pussies :)

I love it!  Today was actually my first day back at the office since I went sly.  I was extremely nervous walking across the parking lot . . . Fortunately, the response was nothing but positive.

Lol. I think we all go through that nervous walk across the parking and dreaded ride in the elevator. Those moments pass quickly and well as the initial feedback. Eventually no one will remember what you looked like with hair. And after enough time, you will meet new people and make friends who will only know you as being bald. Those are best moments.....when you get to drag out old pics of yourself with hair to show to your new friends. They always respond with "I can't imagine you with hair!" You become known only as a regular bald guy pretty quickly.

Was it true?  Was it funny?  Was it educational?  Was it kind?  No.  Those people are useless to me.  I do my best not to let them take up space in my head.
One definition of "surrender" is, "To join the winning side."

I went through a similar experience the first day back in the office with a shaved head. My heart was thumping in my chest as I parked up & strolled through the car park to the office entrance. The security guards recognized me immediately & one of them gave me a knowing nod.... he was a bald guy, too.

When I got to my department a few folk almost didn't recognize me.... Most comments were positive, but the occasional one was a bit negative or derogatory. I ignored the negative ones and thanked others for the positive comments. About 2 -3 months later, I noticed a few other guys coming into work with shaved heads.... Think I started a little fashion trend amongst some of the guys. Lol !!

One of my area managers came in this week, not seen him since I went sly, he kept looking...like he was unsure...(I used to sport a no.1 buzz) he finally asked if I had always shaved my head? Keeping a straight face I said...no...but I'm Hoping to get some work as a Jason stratham look a like....I held his gaze for another 10 seconds...the look on his face was so funny...I mixture of confusion and shock lol...then I had to laugh... Which made him burst out laughing too...

One day I had my hair to a #1.
The friendly cleaners at my workplace be like "oh you cut your hair short".
Next day, I came with a sly and they'd be like "OMG?! why did you make it bald?".
I just laughed it off and said "I couldn't stand having hairs".  >:D

But my family has been liking it, my girlfriend digged it even her sister said it's not too bad.  :*))
I just love being bald!
