LOL now that I have your attention what I am speaking of is the fact that winter is upon us even the calendar says it's fall, and we are dealing with the frigid cold weather here in Arizona. It actually got down to 40° this morning and I broke out my trusted warm protector for my dome. Yes, I am speaking about every bald man's war with the wool hat. some people call them beanies, some people call him stocking caps I am speaking about is just a plain old wool hat. And what I speak about with "I can't win" is when I wear one on a "shave day" it just slides up and rides on top and when I'm talking about at off day, (I shave every other day because my skin gets irritated if I do everyday) then trying to put the ball cap on over a sandpaper head is virtually impossible. Does anybody have any clues on how to make life easier?
LOL
It is supposed to get down to 49 here tonight... (It was 85 yesterday and we had the a/c on for part of the day).
I hate wearing hats, so I don't have any helpful information for you. Maybe a hoodie will come in handy.
My headblade hoodie is coming in handy. I don't have to wear a hat, but if the AC is still turned on in the restaurant, despite 20 degrees outside, I can pull up the hood. also use it at work when it has not warmed up yet for the day. Office is on an outside wall with a large thermopane window. It feels cold until about 11 AM on colder days. Wear the hoodie.
As a bonus, someone asks, "What's a headblade?"
Tomorrow in CT the low will be 22 and the high 34. I'm used to wearing a hat. In fact, I'd never leave the house in the winter without a hat. I walk to work about a mile. When it's above freezing, I wear an ivy cap. When it's below freezing, I wear a beanie or something that covers my ears.
It's hard to put a hat on when there's sand paper-y stubble. I usually put my hands inside the hat and pull the hat down and then remove my hands.
Like slymyke and mrzed, I'd go the hoodie route. Been doing that myself all week. I was in Hawaii for work for 20 ending on Maui on Sunday with temps hovering around 80. Got off the plane in San Francisco early Monday morning with temps in the low 50's. I've been freezing my butt off ever since!
