Whats your advice for a conehead?
IamAconehead:
I am 33 years old now and my hairline is moving back slowly & my conehead is not noticable to anybody yet.
I would love to shave my head but the 1st time I did back in Jr High I noticed my head was very pointy. It is basically the same shape as the actors in the movie Coneheads, just not as long.
Whats your guys advice for someone like me? I've thought about hair restoration done to having some kind of skull reconstruction done. I dont really like the thought of my head/skull being cut open and having a steel play on my head. But I hate having a conehead.
TheSlyBear:
Post a photo so we can see what you're talking about.
No one has a perfect head, and often, we're our own worst critics.
Hingatao:
SlyBear's right. Chances are nobody else would even see it.
Tyler:
We've had people come here with the same claims before that their head was cone shaped and once they posted a picture of them shaved there was no evidence of a cone shaped head. My guess is that your hair is causing an illusion as to what your head shape really is.
IamAconehead:
yeah, ive seen the other guy who said he had a conehead & it wasnt even close to being a conehead.
I shaved my head a couple times when I was younger buy always ended up wearing a hat until it grew back to a length where nobody could notice.
When washing my hair, I would use the shampoo to flaten my hair all the way down as possible & sure enough, the cone shape of my head is obvious. I may post a pic, but I do believe that you guys will agree with me & it will only make me more unsecure about the shape of my head.
When thinking about this, I get frustrated because how many people actually have a conehead? Its probably only 1 in 50,000 people. Yeah, some of you may say something like "Your unique & should consider yourself blessed". But honestly, I'd not like to stand out in a crowd in this kind of fashion.
