I thought I had a pic in the Before and After Gallery.  So here you go.  I should also add that the before shot was not really before.  I had shaved before then.  But it was during a period I just felt like seeing where my hair loss was going.  The "after" pic has a beard with actually less grey than the "before" pic.  That is because it was taken about 1998 or 1999.  The pic with hair was taken in about 2002.  Here is a pic with hair from December 2010 also!

BBC - I have had that crazy high forehead for as long as I can remember. I have pics where my hair was such a mop that you couldn't even tell!

Reddog, out of curiosity, since you starting going grey so early, did you think about shaving our head when you were younger? Or, in retrospect, did you wish you had tried it earlier?

Slybeard, thank for the nice comments! I have received dozens of positives comments from friends. I think the part I like best is not seeing all the grey on my head. I started getting grey at 21yo, 59yo now, so not seeing it is cool. I don't mind my grey beard. I've worked hard on the tan, and think it looks great.

no, I would not have had the guts to do it before, although I wore a flattop for a few years about 10 years ago. Guess I'm old enough not to care what people think, except for my gal, who is a great supporter. She likes me better with hair, but wants me to do what makes me happy. I had her shave me bald yesterday, after growing hair for 5 weeks. Not sure if I would have wanted to do it sooner, now was just the right time. Thanks for asking!

Hair shellacked into place. It doesn't move.  Receding on the sides and big bald spot on top.  This was 16 years ago, right before I started buzzing my hair.  So I guess I have been some form of sly for 16 years.

I know. I was young and a bit heavier than I am now. I feel much better today than back then.
