Any one who can do a 100 miler, especially Leadville, is one ONE BAD MUTHA!!!!!
schro:
most I've ever run at one time was 18 miles. Can't imagine tacking on another 82.
Robmeister:
Hey... which SLY bros (Paul has already weighed in) can give me some more advice on carb loading for my run tomorrow?
I've read some articles in Runners World, but can't zero in on specifics.
Does eating quality carbs during the day/night before load you up for a run the next day (it'll be before noon, most likely)? I simply cannot eat within at least 4 to 6 hours before running = SIDE ACHE.
In addtion to whole grains, rice, potatoes....what else?
Thanks for yer help......what about articles you could point me to?....thanks!!
