Welcome to the club, cristiano. Like the others have said, this is a purely personal decision that only you can make. It's your hair and your choice. You're the only one who has to be happy with it. It would be nice if your parents and girl friend were more supportive of your going sly but, in the long run, their opinions are, and should remain, secondary to your own. I agree with the others that if you have the itch to go sly, scratch it. If you don't like it, your hair will grow back. If you do like it, your parents and girl friend will eventually get used to it. Good luck with your decision.
