no kidding.  I think alot of it is that people tend to read to much into things.   Seems as though the last few months I have in certain situations where I stop and think...would i be doing this if i was back in highschool and etc.  I went to the gym the other day.  I have always had a fear of gyms.  Fears of others pointing or laughing cause maybe i couldnt lift as much as they could and my biggest fear...i could never do chin ups even in highschool..and i got laughed at in gym class about it.  It was the only area i failed in and have carried that with me for over 25 years.  So I go to the gym and im lookin around and i say the hell with it...why have i let this bother me...same as going bald.  Im just disappointed I didnt do this last year.  Oh well first time for everything..

Ya, I've had some of the same experiences.  I only wish sometimes that I had the 18 year old body, but with the 40-something mind.  That would be an awsome combination.

You aint kiddin.....wonder if they have come up with that wonder drug yet?  It is amazing how we change our thoughts and views.  What we thought was important 20 years ago....dont amount to a hill of beans.  I think that is why I push my kids to do things ...cause I see them doing things that I would have never dreamed of doing when I was their age.  Speakin of I just got a phone call , my son has just made the ALL STARS team in baseball here.  Meaning we will be on the travel team.  Hey catch you all later

Congrats to your son.

It's still raining here in the Midwest.  All of our state tournament (little league) games were cancelled yesterday and now they're cancelled for most of the day today.

I am going to assume that this was a rhetorical question and move to the next post...

Hey man.  First of all, your before/after pics are proof positive that sly is the superior look for you.  You went from a very boyish  (kinda spoiled looking is my reading)  image to one that is more grown up, slightly harder.  The glasses are fine.  I had been having the same questions as you about them, but the guys here have helped me get past that.  Your currently glasses go well with the look.  Am I right in tht they have a somewhat "retro" look  (sortof "Malcom X" ? )...   Anyway, you might go for  a certain retro image with the glasses; adding a fedora hat would be quite cool, I think.  (not for all the time, maybe when you go to clubs, etc).  Also, have you considered contact lenses?  They are not that expensive anymore, and they are supposed to be extremely comfortable nowadays.  I wore them about 15 years ago; they were ok, but I found then uncomfortable after a while, esp during/ after reading (and my profession--academic--requires a lot of that.  haven't gotten around to checking out the current state of the art lenses.  Anyway, think about it .... and PS ... thanks for your response in my "to be or not to be" post.

John
