First head shave with blade
« on: June 02, 2013, 06:25:17 PM »
After all those years of shaving my head with an electric, I got everything together and shaved with the headblade.  It was awkward, but I know that will improve.

I was worried about razor burn, but had none.  Even after shaving against the grain.   I suppose all those years of electric shaving prepared the pate for the blade.

The shave was incredibly close.  The two bumps on my scalp weren't a problem at all.  I figured that they would be cut and bleed.

Most of all, the shave was refreshing.  It took much less time than a shave with an electric.  That was gratifying.  I had always resented the amount of time that it took to shave my head with an electric razor.

Anyway, I like this; and am looking forward to keeping it up.

Chris

Glad to hear that you like the razor, Chris! @OzSly: Nice new avatar, looking younger with the Van Dyke!
(NOTE: This was not intended to hijack your thread, Chris, just mentioning OzSly's new avatar as a side note)

I agree.  The goatee makes OzSly look much younger.
