  I've found myself stressing over hair for the last 4/5 years, constantly checking on forums (not like this one but others that I am sure a lot of you guys will know, like Hairlosshelp, Hairsite, Baldtruthtalk etc, etc.).  Where the usual thinking is "Do whatever is on your hands to keep the hair.". Over time you even start to think that way, which is counter productive.
  
  It has been a constant thing on my mind to shave my hair, just didn't have the guts, I was more concentrated on the wind, the rain, how many hairs you shed in the shower, and why not, infecting yourself with all sort of dangerous medications (got depressed and had sexual problems with that finasteride sh*t).
  
  I came by accident to this forum and straight away I went to the bathroom and shaved my hair. Best decision I've made in a long time. I was worried because I have a really large forehead tho I'm tall (2,03 metres), and I promised myself that if it didn't look ridicoulus I will never stress over hair again. funny thing is that I actually like the look .
  
  And the pros are infinitum!! I surf, skimboard, skateboard since many many years and now it's just everthing so much easier. Now I'm tanning the head and worrying about more important things in life.

• Welcome!  When concern about hair begins to stop you enjoying life, it's time for the hair to go.  As you found out, there are lots of pros to being sly.  Just be careful getting sun - the scalp burns easily and a peeling head is no fun. I say that from experience, having gotten a burn two weeks ago!

  Ten cuidado with the tanning. You can usually get a bit of a tan while using sunscreen. I read somewhere that many cases of skin cancer start with melanoma on the scalp! And since you're spending time in the sun (surfing) better be safe than sorry, hermano.
