ALL,
I stumbled upon this website a few weeks ago. I decided that I would like some of your opinions. I've been buzzing it down to #1/#2 ish for close to a year. I think it's just getting too thin too fast. As I'm sure most have experienced, losing hair has absolutely crushed me and affected my life personally, professionally, and any other "ly" way you can think of. Oh well. I'm 27 and an attorney. Noticed thinning about two years ago although it probably started before that. Always had thin hair, but I loved it.
Anyway, I've considered going for it and would appreciated opinions. The classics - head shape, face shape, how to stay tan without risking damage to skin - and any other advice would be appreciated. Also, I've noticed little, tiny, tiny bumps around the follicles sometimes. What's up with that and how do I fix it? Oh yeah, and I have a pretty oily dome, always have. Any tips on that too?
You have a great headshape for a close buzz or smooth head and skin color as well. I would say clean your scalp with a facial exfoliant like St Yves found at drug stores to reduce any breakouts. Scalp skin should be cleaned thoroughly and never use soap. Witch Hazel is a common astringent used after cleaning/shaving to tighten pores and reduce oil.
Welcome mate!
The buzz looks good so sly would look great also.
Hope you get to a place where you are comfortable with your new look.
Cheers
i think you would look great fully shaved.
G'Day Sheph mate

Welcome to the Bastion Of Baldness.
The Buzz cut looks fine on you, the Sly look would look even better.
as said you will look good shaved or buzz, I also have an oily head, I use witch Hazel, like aftershave, and an alum block keeps me grease free all day
Thank for the responses. The buzz hasn't been all that bad but I just think its getting too thin.
I think I'll try no guard and see then weigh my options. It really makes a difference in direct light.
