My dog ate the mail

That means I don't have to pay any bills contained therein right?  Right??

For some insane reason our landlord is remodelling our mailboxes.  So all the mail goes under the door in the meantime.  Which puts the mail in the area  known as little Bea's munchy time snackhouse.

Do they really think tenants are going to be tripping over one another to pay an extra $200/month in rent because the mailboxes are now chrome instead of passe brass?

The poor guys the landlord hired to remodel want my permission to paint the inside of my front door.  As in, they want to be in my apartment for the next hour or so and coat my door with a godawful smelling substance.  Two hours before I host a (small)  party.

I told them absolutely not.  They are freaking out about being in trouble with the boss.  I offered to call my landlord and explain that needless repairs are not actually features but rather a huge pain in the tenant's ass.  One guy keeps knocking and asking if I'll reconsider.

My dog is completely losing her sh*t over this all. 

Hopefully they will clear out before I kick off my bday party.  I'm the nice one of my friends and I don't want to traumatize the poor painters. 

And sh*t there he goes knocking again asking to paint my door.  Maybe I'm okay with traumatizing him.

I should just have a running post called "things bella finds hysterical." 

Apparently Donald Trump outed Jon Stewart as Jewish this morning!  Holy NO sh*t to you Mr Trump! 

Okay, I'm going to go have a birthday party now but damn the shock and outage Donald managed to conjure up.  And he insists his hair is real.  It may be real, sir, but it is ugly.   Super ugly.
