"New" old product
« on: April 14, 2013, 10:24:39 AM »
After noticing that my barber uses the stuff, I had been using "Proraso" for shaving the face for some time and used it on my newly bald head this morning for the first time...this stuff is perfect for the purpose. Proraso comes in a tub and looks like ordinary soap. You lather up, using a brush and go to town. It lubricates and protects properly and doesn't run into your eyes like some gels and foams and even headslick do. The stuff is CHEAP! a couple of bucks for a tub that will outlast several spray cans easily. My super duper brush was under $3. but of course you can use your badger hair brush if you have one.

I use their aftershave "lotion".  It's very good.  I haven't tried to cream yet but I'm sure I'll love it

I have the Proraso in the green tub. It's a great, very cost effective product. The only thing that I don't care for about it is the scent.... it's kind of "earthy".

If you like Proraso you should try Cella. Oh man I love Cella.

I use proraso shaving soap in a white tub; its a solid cake not a cream and unscented.

Yep,

Proraso is great stuff. The Sandalwood (Red) is also worth a try IMO.
