head shaving - mole issue
« on: April 12, 2013, 03:01:11 PM »
Ive been using a normal electric razor to shorten my hair slowly, ive recently went over it with a nu3 and noticed 2 small light brown moles, one on the side in-front of my ear and another on the back of my head.

Firstly im worried that these will ruin my sly look and also that i may have more of then around my head, causing me to look ridicules. (i pray i don't). i plan on using a mirror to check my head encase of any more of these small moles or larger ones or any scares or marks.

Secondly how would you go around shaving these the one by my ear will be ok but the one at the back of my head is in a perfect spot (lower crown area) to be shaved of by the head blade, any tips on how to get round these moles while shaving?

Thanks

I have one on the top of my head which is slightly raised. I was really worried this would be a problem but strangely it hasn't been at all and my ATX goes straight over it without cutting. I take it yours are very much raised? I guess what I would do is shave around them with a blade and then use an electric razor around the moles to finish.

We all have things we can focus on and look at negatively but I am finally realizing it is a way of thinking that will only lead to unhappiness and heartache
If they don't cause a problem work on thinking in the direction of acceptance. This is the way of Sly I am learning and it is the way of being at peace with things which is beautiful and calming. If they really annoy you and make shaving difficult, go see a doctor about it. As unlike the big bump I have on my head (which is bone) at least moles can be removed :)

and the end of our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time

I have had a few moles removed before, a number of years ago. A doctor did it, a dermatologist. It really wasn't that bad, but it'd take a week or so for the skin to heal. I'm glad to have it done, the moles have not come back, but I know that for some people they can.  Actually, I had a mole on my face above my lip like one some of the famous actresses have. I know some people like to have a mole a birthmark there, but I never personally understood why and I was a bit self conscious, so I was quite relieved when I eventually had it removed. I have a tiny scar there, the most people don't even recognize it.
