Hey everyone!

Hi everyone, I just joined a week or so back and I already have that "feel good" thing going on about this forum. After my hair started thinning, I began clipping my hair but always liked it best when first clipped. I got sick of doing that and also wanted a bit of excitement, so I decided to shave my head. I have only shaved it four times but what a great feeling!, refreshing, wow love it so far!


After years of making appointments and depending on hairdressers and getting stressed when the hairdresser girl announced quite loudly "YOUR HAIR, IT'S THINNING! (and everyone looked around at me), it is such liberating feeling of freedom and satisfaction shaving the lot off and mentally having the attitude.... "This is who I am, take it or leave it because I'm fine and I'm happy with it".

In fact shaving my head has actually increased my self confidence, I can feel it within me which has been a really nice unexpected surprise

Welcome, this is a wonderful community. 

Being sly is a huge confidence booster, overall -- as a female I've had my doubts but in the end I've shared your net positive experience.  Not trying to conform to a mold is wonderful!
