Computer problem
« on: February 15, 2013, 08:31:05 AM »
Every time I pull this site up I get a little box in the middle of the screen that says "Message from webpage/object error". Has anybody ever run into this and how do you get rid of it.Very annoying.

That happened to me a couple of times on my phone. Rebooting it seemed to solve the problem.

I know, but rebooting every time is a pain in the butt.

Have you ever used Chrome?   Apparently there is an extension in Chrome that might interefere w/ IE9.

Check out this thread, it may help, hope it does:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ieitprocurrentver/thread/809cb8d9-0484-497b-8063-7bba71ed3361

If you've never used Chrome the bottom of the thread mentions Silverlight and Adobe programs (e.g. Acrobat Reader) may be tied to the issue.

Edited to Add:
Apologies if you've already been this route but the Google results for this search string seem like they could be helpful.  The above info is from the first hit.

Was it "object expected"? If so, that's likely a JavaScript error. Tyler can verify if there are any known IE issues.
