My advice would be to just go for it. I went from a short haircut to buzzing to a number one then got the nerve to,shave it. No turning back once you do,it you will love it. Keep checking in with us here for support.

Nice results. Lot of guys around here sport that haircut.  It's just a small step from there to bald, and a nice step, i might add.

I did that about a year ago and I love the results.  Bald is satisfying and bold.

It's been fun so far. My head got a little red after the day on the boat but that's to be expected. I plan on going closer this weekend.

+1 I also just got an alum block, really makes a difference...feels great...re the haircut, looks sooo much better dude!
