That's cool.  Another one comes to the sly side.  I don't think I could let anyone shave me.  I'd be worried they would nick me or something.

one of our new members: DA-REV-JUGGALO, had hair when i went on the boat. maybe after seeing how much damn cooler i am than he was. he shaved it last week. looks pretty good too. so i would like to think i was an influence, but probably not. owell he joined and is pretty frickin cool.

That's pretty cool.  I would love to the be reason that someone else decided to go sly.

I would bet that through your posts on this site that you have!

I hope so.  None of my close friends are sly, nor is anybody in my family and it's not something that really ever comes up in conversation.  But I get the impression that most of my friends wouldn't actually go sly themselves.

I would have thought by now that more of my friends would be seriously thinning and receding.  A few are in the early stages but for some reason I always seem to be the only bald guy in the group.

RazorX, When I was still on the fence, you gave me some good advice and insight that helped push me over the edge.  I'm certain that is the case with others in our group. 8)

To add to this should be a round of thanks to all the brothers in supporting each other to REMAIN sly.   When I was a very recent BBC'er, I found this forum by asking advice as to whether or not it was worth it to keep the dome shaved.  (Can't believe I even asked that question now!)   It was the various supportive comments, humor and information that I found here that kept this guy sly for over 6 months and has helped me realize I was meant to be sly and will truly be sly for life.

I agree.  Even after 3+ years into this, I was still having doubts from time to time and having days when I really missed having hair.  I have had fewer and fewer of those moments the longer I've been a part of this group and actually can't remember the last time I felt that way.  This forum has really helped bolster my resolve and confidence.
