Honestly Markus I think that it looks good on you. You just took a big step and it is going to take a while to adjust to the new you. I did it slightly more gradual then you by first doing a really short buzz cut. Then shaving it all off two months later. When I first buzzed my hair it was quite the change for me. I liked it right away but a small part of me was like man what did I just do?
In the end I really liked it and I like being bald even more. I wish that I would have shaved my head bald sooner, just like many people on here said that I would. Give it 30 days and realize that your second thoughts are normal, only because it is such a different look for you. I am willing to bet that you will love being sly by the time you finish your 30 days.

no problem bella, no offence taken, I just thought that I looked too young for my age
and thank you kevin, I already believe that it is agood idea to do the 30 days challenge. Is there someone on the forum who didn't like it at first and had to get used to it?

ok, so I've finally done it and I think it looks terrible - I'm not sure if I can keep that look for 30 days
You have absolutely nothing to be unhappy about. You look terrific! It takes some time to adjust so that is why the 30 day rule is important. Having gone this far, you owe it to yourself to live with the look for a little while. It looks good -- really!!

Marcus, when you had hair and you looked at yourself in the mirror most of your attention would have been on your facial features.
At this time when you look in the mirror most of your attention is on your bald scalp. Over the 30 days you will gradually move your main focus of attention from your scalp back to your face and then you will be quite happy with the way you look.
Similarly, when people who have known you as "haired" first see you their attention is drawn to your bald scalp and this can be an interesting time for them. After a very short time [minutes usually] they start to focus again on your face and forget about your bald scalp.
People who you don't know as a "haired" man who first meet you will pay almost no attention at all to your bald scalp.
You look good but the option is always open to let it grow back and eventually have a horseshoe -- but that could be years away.
Also, there is nothing wrong with a horseshoe -- I was quite happy with mine. But I love the freedom from "the tyranny of hair" -- hence the shaved head.
Why don't you upload the first bald pic as your new avatar?

You look really good with your shaved head. It would be a shame if you don't keep it!

Hi Marcus. You have made the right decision when you shaved your head smooth. You look great. the smooth dome brought out your facial features and you have a nicely shaped head. Im saying this not because I am biased towards shaved heads but because its true. Now time to change your avatar.

Maybe just try again? I've had to upload a new avatar pic a few times, it would just not "take" the first or second time and then loaded fine the third.
The site is also picky about image size, how big is the image file you're wanting to use?

Way to change the avatar pic, Markus! Give it time, you and others will get used to it.
