Just be careful...sunburns on the noggin can be a mess.

Natural sun works best for me.

Personally for my skin type:

0 - 20 min. = no sunscreen
30 - 60 min. = SPF 15
60 - 120 min. = SPF 30
120 + min. = reapply SPF 30 every 60 to 90 minutes.

Longest sun exposure since being SLY was last week....exposed for about 4 hours straight on the golf course....no hat.....2 applications of SPF 30 got just enough color and no burning.

But you'll have to work with your particular skin type.

Hope that helps.

You're Florida sun, right?

If you're going to be in the sun for more than an hour...I wouldn't use anything under a 30spf...the tropical sun could ruin your newly slick melon and your ability to shave it clean...so proceed with caution...the color will come, just don't rush it and get it burned...

ouch! :(

ZINC OXIDE?!... :*)) Sorry dude, just got a mental image of a bald dude walking around with bullfrog on his head like those kids at the beach with the white noses...

j/k , sorry dude, all in good fun...

no, 30 should be enough, depending on the time and how your skin naturally handles sun...most times even after 7-8 straight in the So. Cal sun...sometimes on the intensity and extra time outside in direct sun I'll use 50spf...

Good luck and don't get too in a rush to tan...having the dome slick and smooth is better than stubbly burned and flaking off!

Bald Guyz Sunscreen was invented when I was in Florida and couldn't play golf without wearing ahat or burning my head. More important than the SPF is that we add moisturizers so it does not sweat off of the head for long lasting protection.

Matt, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!!

I would try using Maui Babe with some sunscreen over it.  I like Bald Guyz or Matte for Men sunscreen.  I haven't done a review on Maui Babe yet, but my wife and I use it and it works awesome to help you get a nice brown color when in natural sun.  And you can use sunscreen on top.  To learn more about it click here: Maui Babe
