Welcome.  The Toppik product looks strange and distracting (almost as distracting as the comb-over on one of my colleagues lol), so I am glad you got rid of it.  And I don't really think that bald is necessarily unattractive either.  It is just a different look.  Some women will hate it, some will love it and others (probably most) won't care.
Sometimes I look around and see that most people around 22 (in my classes at school) have hair, but there still tends to be few others who are starting to lose their hair too.  I read somewhere that 80%+ of white males will have hair loss to some extent by the time they are in their 50's, so I guess you could say we are just getting a head start on what will probably happen to most of them anyway.  And by the time you are you are 50, you will feel weird with hair.

Dear Patrick :  Welcome to SBG !  You have taken the best course of action !  You look 10,000 % better with no hair than with Toppik hiding what nature does not want hidden !  Good Luck.  Keep us posted about your confidence building with this new sly bald path in life !

I'd never heard of Toppik until your post. Just looked it up and I am stunned that there is such a thing. Not a long term solution for sure.

Every time  you use it [which would be everyday] you are subconsciously telling yourself that you are inadequate as you are -- that can't be good for anyone.

Once again -- you have made the right choice and it looks good.

The "new" look is by far the best for you - you have great eyes and they become much more effective without the hair acting as a distraction.

Also, you've got a great smile in the current photo - that's rather convincing that you like it, and will be just as convincing to others.

I think you look 1000% better than picture #2.  I love the sly look you look very handsome, there is no reason that you should feel insecure about your looks.  Keep up the sly look and the beard, you look incredible.
