Its just taken me 52 minutes to log in. Literally

Did you get an error?  Can you describe what happened?

When I click on a link, it just hangs and hangs, and eventually the screen changes to a blank white screen and it just says '504 gateway timeout' on it.

After I posted that it took me 51 or 52 minutes to log in, or however long it was, it was then another 30 minutes or so before I could access any other posts.
