Just curious - does this site have a chat room, or do those of you who chat together use Yahoo etc?
I can't see a chat room anywhere but I thought I'd ask in case I missed it. -

No chat room. This comes up occasionally but most agree that a chat room isn't our thing.

Yeah most of us chat via the message system if it's not related to a topic at hand. I've also been known to email and facebook with a few of the guys, it all depends on what's easiest for you and the person you want to talk with

Someone should start a Facebook group. Not to replace threads here but just to chat and whatevs?

Not a bad idea, but I think that SBG has it's own page that you can hit "like" on, does that count? -

Not a bad idea, but I think that SBG has it's own page that you can hit "like" on, does that count?
I think the difference is with a group, posts made don’t end up on everyone’s newsfeed only if you chose to view it.
Anyway was just a thought.

I don't use Facebook anymore. I was spending too much time reading about what other people's cats had for breakfast and I realised I needed to get a life! -

I just got fed up hearing about cat breakfasts, and who was playing bingo, and receiving countless invitations to join weird groups etc etc.
If I want to chat I generally use yahoo messenger. It tends to be a cat and bingo free experience -

Haha, you can block those invitations, finding that was the best thing I have found on Facebook so far... haha
