When I started wearing a beard, all of the ladies in my life loved it! Funny part is my ex hated it when we were together, but now she says she loves it now that we're apart....I'm with you, Lynchy, you just can't win sometimes....

My wife (and children) have never seen me without a beard which I have had for 46 1/2 years.  A couple of years ago my wife said I would look better with a goatee rather than full beard and I shaved it down and although it looked OK I felt it wasn't me so I grew the full beard back.  Now she doesn't comment.

Flop, my cat, is somewhat disoriented. He thinks he's sleeping with a strange man but everything else is the same. He'll reach up and put a paw on it and then put it down and then put it back up....one can sense his confustion. He had the same problem when I started shaving my chest after the Eagle tattoo was applied. He was used to curling up on a modestly hairy chest and then... it was gone. I don't need to shave it, of course, but the sight of an eagle growing hair and not feathers just seemed inappropriate. Perhaps he thinks what was now on my chest has reappeared on my face.....

I don't have a significant other, so the facial hair is a non-issue.  :-\
Just say no to rugs!

My lady used to hate it but now loves it and said I'm never allowed to be clean shaven again. But she looooooves the smooth dome.

Wife was against the streamlined scalp until about a week after I'd done it but now doesn't want me to ever grow it out again.
The facial hair is another story. I like to change it up a bit (goatees, mo, full beard, zig-zags & shapes) & she's ok with anything that isn't around the mouth. Sadly for her, I'm cultivating a handlebar mo at the moment. She tolerates it but I'm asked regularly how long it will last.

My wife doesn't say much about my Van Dyke. She was not in favor of it when I first grew it out about 2 years ago. I think that she likes it now that I keep it short and groomed. I like it I guess that is what counts.

After I grew out my facial hair, my wife informed me that she loves my facial hair  O0 .  Had I known, I would have grown it out years sooner  :Xo!  It is amazing how quick "they" are to not tell you what they like but tell you what they don't like  :/O

I'm single, so I don't cop any flack. Quite a few of my girl friends really seem to like it, and occasionally ask to touch it. If only those were the single ones! Haha

He's getting used to it but he still wants me to shave it off.

My girlfriend likes it. She's also the first one to say positive things about how I look with a shaved head.

Living and dating in South Korea, I find that a lot of women here are not fond of bald heads or beards. In actuality, they don't mind bald heads but they really don't like beards. On the other hand my girlfriend loves my bald head but hates the beard.
