A great basketball player is one who can put his team on his shoulders and take them to the next level, when he needs to but is selfless otherwise. Like MJ, and LeBron now. This is not Kobe. The Lakers haven't made the playoffs since Shaq left and barely played .500 this year. Let him stay in LA. They deserve his ego.

KOBE is selfish, definitely not a team-player, which is why he will probably never win another championship, but he is a great basketball player, one of the top ever to play in the game, I don't know how you can deny that, they wouldn't not have made the playoffs this year w/o him, but he is definitely not a TEAM-PLAYER.
