I bought the ATX kit
And it came with a bottle...
I use it before I do the shaving like instructed on the bottle.
It seems ok but I don't have any exfoliant experiences to compare it to. -

I like HeadShed ... but I'm just as content with St. Ives Apricot Scrub which is less expensive.
Use it before putting on shaving lotion. -

I love HeadShed. I used to use it before, but now I use it after my shave, feels awesome rubbing it on a bald head.

It's bad to exfoliate too much. I use it once every 3 days.

Headshed is one of my favorite HB products. I mostly use it every day before shaving but using an exfoliant 2-3 times a week should be more than enough. Will try though to apply it after shaving, as suggested here
