G'Day mate,
I am a similar issue when I first started shaving, my head was a lighter colour than the rest of me  :o but after a short period of time being out in the sun and fresh air my nude nut became tanned and the colour matched.
Don't know if that's your problem but I am sure the rest of the brotherhood here will help.

if you haven't been washing the old melon, you'll probably be needing a good exfoliate, so grab some apricot scrub and go for it.

FAIL! No seriously, washing your head not only helps with coloring, it also is good to prevent razor bumps....especially for African American males.....
