Welcome Gary.  I'm sure you can share a lot of good tips with having 9 years under the razor.

Thank you all for the nice welcome. Some have asked me to tell my story of how I came to shave my head, so here goes:

In my early 20's I started to lose my hair. On my 30th birthday, I went to a place in NYC and got a hairpeice. Wore that for many years. What a pain in the ass that was. Sometimes I thought it looked good and othertimes i was not sure. But I really don't think I was fooling anyone.

I am also a wrestling fan. So was my wife and son. We would go to alot of events. Stone Cold Steve Austin was very popular then. I started noticing alot of guys in the arena's were shaving their heads.
So, 9 years ago on Halloween night, I took off the hairpiece and shaved the rest. 3 weeks before that I grew a gotee.  After I shaved it, my wife and son both thought I looked like the wrestler Bill Goldberg.
Over the years, many people have even asked me for an autograph, lol.
Shaving my head was the best thing I ever did.
My wife and I also enjoy going to comedy clubs. The comedian almost always picks me out and makes some comments.
When I meet people for the 1st time, they think i'm either a biker (never rode a bike), a bouncer, a boxer, or a wrestler. When I tell them that I work in a computer room, they don't believe me.

It's been a great 9 years.

Thanks,
Gary

I did think you were either a wrestler or a boxer looking at your photo, but thats probably due to the guns  8)

I work with a guy who uses no guard on his head when buzzing it and he looks like he is a boxer/general psycho and actually he is a nice guy and he works in IT with me!!!
