For anyone curious about this show because I know I am, this is now on Netflix's streaming service. It only the first season (7 episodes) but more seasons will come in the future I'm sure.
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

I watched all of Series 2 (6 Episodes) on the IFC Network.  It's a quirky little (un) reality show, with some interesting characters.  Sadly, there are lots of beards in the competitions that are not shown because they are not members of the cast.  I did see quite a few bald & bearded guys in the crowds, but just in wide shots.  It's a fun little diversion, but not to be taken too seriously.

I don't think any of these "reality" shows are truly reality based anymore. I knew someone who was on a reality show, and although she was professional about it, she admitted the camera showed a slightly different picture.
